
Prof. Hamid Reza Karimi

Brief Introduction
Hamid Reza Karimi is currently Professor of Applied Mechanics with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy. Karimi’s original research and development achievements span a broad spectrum within the topic of automation/control systems, and intelligence systems with applications to complex systems such as wind turbines, vehicles, robotics and mechatronics. Prof. Karimi is an ordinary Member of Academia Europa (MAE), Distinguished Fellow of the International Institute of Acoustics and Vibration (IIAV), Fellow of The International Society for Condition Monitoring (ISCM), Fellow of the Asia-Pacific Artificial Intelligence Association (AAIA), Member of Agder Academy of Science and Letters and also a member of the IFAC Technical Committee on Mechatronic Systems, the IFAC Technical Committee on Robust Control, the IFAC Technical Committee on Automotive Control as well as member of the board of Directors of The International Institute of Acoustics and Vibration (IIAV). Prof. Karimi is the recipient of the 2021 BINDT CM Innovation Award, the 2016-2021 Web of Science Highly Cited Researcher in Engineering, the 2020 IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems Guillemin-Cauer Best Paper Award, August-Wilhelm-Scheer Visiting Professorship Award, JSPS (Japan Society for the Promotion of Science) Research Award, and Alexander-von-Humboldt-Stiftung research Award, for instance. Prof. Karimi is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Cyber-Physical Systems, Subject Editor, Technical Editor or Associate Editor for some international journals and Book Series Editor for Springer, CRC Press and Elsevier. He has also participated as General Chair, keynote/plenary speaker, distinguished speaker or program chair for several international conferences in the areas of Control Systems, Robotics and Mechatronics.

Prof. Mouquan Shen
Nanjing Tech University, China
Brief Introduction
Professor, the "Six Talent Peaks" of Jiangsu Province. Postdoctoral at Southeast University, visiting scholar at overseas universities such as the University of Hong Kong, Yeungnam University, South Korea, and the University of Adelaide, Australia. He is the PI of more than 10 provincial-level projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs, and the Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation. In recent years, more than 100 papers with an H-index of 24 have been published in journals such as IEEE · Transactionson · Automatic Control, IEEE Transactionson · Cybernetics, and IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems. He has been severed as Editor-in-Cheif, Associate Editor, or Editorial Board Member of 12 international journals. He is also an active reviewer of over 80 domestic and international journals, including IEEE · TAC and Automatica, as well as the corresponding reviewer for the National Natural Science Foundation of China and multiple provincial and municipal science and technology projects.

Assoc. Prof. Jamaludin Jalani

Brief Introduction
Jamaludin Jalani is an Associate Professor at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. He earned his B.Eng. Degree from Leeds Metropolitan University, UK, in 1998 and his M.Sc. in Mechatronics Engineering from the International Islamic University of Malaysia. In 2013, he attained a Ph.D. from the University of Bristol, England, specializing in Robotic Engineering. His primary research interests include Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, and Control Systems. Before embarking on his academic career, Dr. Jalani contributed his engineering acumen to Sharp Manufacturing, Malaysia, gaining practical insights into the industry. In 2015, Jamaludin Jalani was appointed as the head of the Student Affairs Department at the Faculty of Engineering Technology, Tun Hussein Onn University Malaysia. Subsequently, in 2017, he assumed the position of the Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering Technology within the same Faculty. Currently, he serves as the Head of the Robotics Engineering and Technology (GREaT) Focus Group at the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia.

Assoc. Prof. Wenfeng Hu

Brief Introduction
Dr. Wenfeng Hu is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Automation, Central South University, Changsha, China. He received the M. Eng. degree in computer software and theory from Chongqing University, Chongqing, China, in 2012, and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical and biomedical engineering from City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, in 2016. In 2015 and 2016, he won the Outstanding Academic Performance Award in City University of Hong Kong, in 2019, he was awarded the "Zadeh Best Conference Paper Award Finalist" in IEEE ICCSS 2019 Conference, in 2021, he was awarded the "HNAAI Outstanding Master's Thesis Award" (as the supervisor), he was a winner of Hunan Natural Science Foundation for Excellent Young Scholars and he was a candidate of "Huxiang young talents" support program. He has published more than 30 papers in the top peer-reviewed journals, including IEEE TAC, Automatica, and IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, and 3 papers were among the 1% Highly Cited Paper by ESI.
His current research interests include multi-agent systems, networked control systems, event-triggered control, and high-speed train control and scheduling.
